Finding land, the six passengers on the sailing ship Memories sang “Sail Away.” The wind had died down and the motor wouldn’t start. The lyrics are beautiful, and the melody was soothing to the soul of each passenger who sang it.
There was plenty of firewood but the bushes and plants were not an edible food source.
Captain Bob christened it “Gilligan’s Island” which was funny. Some of the travelers had an uncomfortable grin on their faces. Luckily he had stocked the canned food for extra days.
After 8 days, search and rescue planes were sent out combing the hundreds of square miles close to the last known position.
